What is the most important practical lesson you have learnt about breaking in/ training young horses?
Things that I can apply and use, and anything that you think is important that isnt done enough.e.g natural horsemanship, patience, whatever.

Thank you all so far. Just thought Id let you know, I’m not planning to break in a horse from this, just for future use.
The most important thing that I have learned is there is no such thing as a “thirty day wonder horse”. To make any thing of quality takes time. You can make a cubic zircona in a few months. It takes years to make a real diamond. So take your time, go slow, and in a couple of years you will have a diamond that can handle anything, instead of a CZ that will crack under pressure.
